From September 19 to 21, the highly anticipated 8th Academic Exchange Conference on Urban Water Security and Water Management was successfully held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Co-hosted by China Flood Control and Drought Relief Magazine and the Urban Water Conservancy Professional Committee of the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, the conference centered on the core theme of “Updating Urban Water Management to Enhance Urban Water Security in an All-Round Way”. It brought together experts, scholars and enterprise representatives in the national water conservancy field to jointly explore cutting-edge directions and practical paths for urban water security governance.
