April 10–11, 2026 | The 2026 Provincial Training Course for Safety Management Staff of Urban Rail Transit Projects was successfully held in Nanjing. Hosted by the Urban Rail Transit Special Committee of Jiangsu Society of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the event invited distinguished industry experts including Xu Xuejun, Former Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, to give lectures. Nearly 150 safety management personnel from urban rail transit construction, operation, and quality safety supervision institutions across Jiangsu attended the training. Shi Hui, General Manager of Nanjing Junli Technology Co., Ltd., was invited as a flood control expert to deliver a special lecture.

The two-day training featured special lectures by seven authoritative industry experts, focusing on work safety and emergency management of urban rail transit:

Lecture Delivered by Shi Hui of Junli Technology
At the training session, General Manager Shi Hui delivered a presentation titled Case Analysis and Technical Research on Urban Rail Transit Flood Prevention Safety. Drawing on flood incidents at metro systems in multiple regions in recent years, he systematically analyzed flood prevention pain points at key locations including metro entrances/exits, connecting openings, air shafts and underpass sections. He shared power-free, automatic and reliable flood barrier solutions, which are of great significance for enhancing the flood emergency response capacity of urban rail transit and improving the flood prevention control system.
The successful training effectively improved the professional competency and comprehensive management capacity of safety management staff engaged in urban rail transit projects across the province, and further strengthened awareness of work safety accountability and safety management thinking among all participants. Through systematic learning, participants broadened their horizons, mastered relevant safety management system concepts, and obtained solid theoretical support and technical guarantee for high-quality construction and safe, stable operation of urban rail transit projects in Jiangsu Province.
